::Pushes glasses up on nose::

Actually, the game that got screwed for GOTY nominations is ARC Raiders, one of the best multiplayer video games of all time. And screwed for audio design, as it is among the most impressive audio experiences in any video game.

::Sighs::

I feel better.

Weren't they all nominated from different years? That said, Black Myth Wukong is pretty solid as far as dark souls-like games go, very well produced. Certainly a standout and genuine highlight for Chinese game development overall. It's a legit visual marvel at times; but it's not a GOTY worthy game.

my point is less that I disagree with you; rather, I think saying "its about the candidates" does a lot to let the Americans that voted off the hook for being literally responsible for the result

who is responsible for an election victory - the voters that selected the winning candidate or the candidate? and if its not both, why not?

I enjoyed Outer Worlds 2, and I think its a better playing game than the first one. Avowed has the most novel combat of the bunch.

But don't let Pentiment sneak past you if you haven't given it a try! It is an historical choice-driven murder mystery RPG set in Bavaria around the Reformation.

Have you tried any of Obsidians games like Avowed or The Outer Worlds? They developed Fallout New Vegas. Each are similar to Fallout in basic design and gameplay. They also have a game called Pentiment that is also somewhat similar in its choices that is exceptional.

It was such a great game, AdHoc is clearly the modern-day Telltale and they've burst onto the scene with a goliath. Dispatch 2 (or season 2 or whatever they call it) feels essential.

I'm a little curious why its not out on Switch, Switch 2, iOS, or Xbox? Feels like a good fit for everything!

I believe @garywhitta.bsky.social had a draft of a Star Trek movie along those lines. Would be great in either universe.

Hades 2 stands at the ready, if you haven't already

Super curious as to the reason for different oaths - just a matter of happenstance or is there a logic to it? It strikes me as a strange situation to have them differ, but perhaps there is an explanation that is sensible that I can't think of right now.

I think it’s because their story is so predictable. It’ll play the Xbox games. And your steam games. It’s probably powerful enough and such. But “our marquee game is literally all the existing Xbox games and Silksong that you already have” is just a bad starting point. An end to some kind of era.
