Lets everyone go back to being pissed about Epstein

I said this a couple weeks ago, but there’s some concern - particularly on the Hill - that Trump is largely inaccessible and that his staff is insulating him from even members of his own party.

Basically, all the crap the books accused Biden of doing.

After the dominion lawsuit, I don’t think there’s a chance in hell WSJ wasn’t prepared for this story. Trump going to war with Murdoch isn’t going to go well for him.

I suspect he’s hoping for a quick and easy settlement, and will withdraw the lawsuit if not. He’s unlikely to let it get to discovery

I feel like if we start showing proof of citizenship while just living our lives in America (which the law does not currently require), we are objecting in advance of such a law.

For now. Everyone is concerned, though - there’s absolutely no feeling of job security right now.

The maddening thing is that it doesn’t matter how good you are at your job, either - a lot of really, really good folks have been let go. Only fealty to the orange throne matters.

Hegseth and Elbridge Colby are ultimately making the majority of the decisions re: Ukraine aid.

Thankfully, after it gets reported and the White House figures out what’s happening (yes, that’s concerning) they seem to be reversing these decisions.

I think so, yes. The biggest thing about protesting en mass like we are is that it reminds people that we aren’t 1939 Germany.

There’s a large, organized social and political resistance to this regime, and the message is clear:

We aren’t going to sleepwalk into a dictatorship.

Second, I think there’s about a zero percent chance that the lower courts DON’T declare his EO unconstitutional - birthright citizenship is literally in the damn constitution.

Caine was mostly ‘here’s the facts of the mission (with some weird top gun shit thrown in) and Pete is like ‘TRUMP IS JESUS AND FUCK YOU FOR ASKING QUESTIONS!!!’
