I worked at a shelter for a long time and homeless people are just normal people, who start to trust people over time like everyone else. And if we’re gonna talk about getting scammed, it’s a miracle that the poor ever trust anyone bc talk about getting scammed!!

Yeah I’ve done a bunch of different things and at this point if I have money on me I’ll just give that. They’re free to use it however. And if they’re persistent and I don’t have cash I’ll get a meal or something if they want, and if they don’t Im kind and walk away.
