A bit more than 7 years...Ed Neister took the first version of the 222nm Sterilray Disinfection Wand to Microbiology Research Associates in Acton MA in 2007 and did multiple tests on pathogens including MRSA. See out website for more test results.

FYI, Ed Neister has been making 222nm lamps since 1998. Below is the first test of 222nm for disinfection done at UNH in 1998. Dr. Malley wrote a statement for Ed in 2005 that was part of Ed's patent filed in 2005. In 2007

Bravo! A Sterilray Sabre is part of our mitigations in the hotel suite for a trade show (people will be coming into the room to buy stuff). We also have 2 x AirFanta 3Pros, along with a 4Lite in the bathroom. (FYI @sterilray.bsky.social).

Starting in 2024, we not only used HEPAs, but added a @sterilray.bsky.social Sabre far-UVC lamp to our arsenal. This year, we have a Sabre in the front corner and an AirFanta 3Pro (by @adamwong.bsky.social) by the desk where the register/checkout will be. The 3Pro is cranking ~12 ACH in this space.

My 3rd hour class can't believe that these aren't everywhere. (deep sigh- neither can I) And I got a bunch of smiles when I told them that I would now be teaching without my mask for the rest of the school year.

My AP students also got an impromptu lesson on resonance in their explanation on how it works- because their questions were really good and very detailed.
