I worked in DC for a few years. It was seeing all the suits at gov meetings in the middle of Summer that made me realize how much of this stuff is idiotic pageantry. DC is like 90F with 60% humidity. Wearing a suit is just not intelligent.

As someone who uses it almost daily, I can still say it's barely more than a glorified search engine. The problem is that there's no way they can monetize the way search engines do and the competition is already vast enough to make the incentive to pay a sub effectively zero
