Live your life, just wear a high quality mask when in indoor public spaces (like the train), avoid super crowded areas, and test multiple times if you end up with respiratory symptoms. Covid isn't just "out there", it's going off right now. But you can still leave your house. Just protect yourself.

I hear you, for sure. And 3 is different than 1. Our kiddo's personality makes it easier, too. I am in no way casting judgment on parents in these hard situations. Our leadership is failing us at every level. Schools are no exception. I hope your fam can stay healthy this winter ❤️

I know I'm super privileged to be able to do this, but for this reason, we took our kid out of school and are homeschooling for now. Letting covid run rampant, along with everything else, was a dealbreaker. And I live in an incredibly blue city. All of his friends have been sick for the last 2 mos.

I tested positive for 11 days in September. My partner tested positive for 15 days. My symptoms were worse than his. I hope yours clears more quickly!
