New paper w/ Eesha Sharma & Xiang Wang distinguishes between explanations for scarcity's effect on intertemporal choice. We find that such choices are more rational than prevailing theory suggests, showing that under some conditions scarcity increases willingness to wait. tinyurl.com/ScarcityAndC...
