This is the most important thing to report. The cruelty of the American Government to this family is shocking.

Please let your BBC colleagues know that spreading the official lies about this further harms their reputation. It's also hugely disrespectful to the dead and their family.

The "both sides" here are truth and lies - only truth needs reporting (including the truth that the US Government is lying).
