Yup! Here is a photo of a group who came for the Make Polluters Pay bill. From across the *entire* state, across faith and party and generations. They filled the hearing room plus an overflow room and into the hall. So much courage, and then to watch the bill die in committee... we are not done.

I haven't been back to Thailand since, but last week I went diving for the first time in 20 years. I feel closer to talking about that part of my life. Staying in contact with some of my students from that time and watching their lives unfold has been... everything, really. All part of healing. 3/3

So, I just lost an election for local office (Portland City Council). While I should probably be feeling devastated, I simply can't get over how much I love this team, or how proud I am of what we accomplished. #pdxelections #orpol 1/2
