Indeed. I thought writing them would get them out of my head where they live rent-free. And then i sold my MS but publisher bought as three book series. Yay! But also those characters are never leaving my brain

Oh wow. I am the opposite. I can’t write fiction when I’m having all the feels. They distract me from my characters’ situations. And I’m going through a thing, so the writing isn’t doing its thing😫
