The bus staff couldn't get through to dispatch - it took 20 plus minutes. And then the bus left the student who caused the incident at my house with me (not my child) when it headed off to school which was an interesting choice. I know the child and was fine but it seems not in line with protocol.

Today my child was physically harmed by another student and the OSSE DOT staff did not know what to do to stop it because they had no training. Instead, police and ambulance were called. I tried for the past week to work with OSSE so this did not happen but they failed to take any action.

And we have continued to have issue with communications, pick ups outside of the 30 minute window even though there are fewer students so it should take less time. Fewer buses over the summer, yet service is worse. Buses are not being staffed appropriately and staff is not properly trained.

My child first day back was July 1 & it was a disaster. There were multiple mistakes by OSSE & the only reason the bus was ONLY just over an hour late to school is because I called the Parent Resource Center to ask about the bus status.
