Breaking News to me is something that is unexpected or new. The BBC in particular are terrible for misusing that banner. This example being a huge case in point.

Not convinced this is anything other than taking advantage of the popular vote to get the republicans back in. Don’t think it matters if Trump resigns tomorrow, they’re back and in charge. A bit like Johnson in 2019

Maybe. Just mindful of the pre-season games where we sent very much an A-side with a sprinkling of veterans and got beat twice. I know they need experience, just be nice if we'd put in a better showing. Goes back to the need (if not the budget or support) for a 3rd pro team to get more experience

presumably SRU decide the date? Does seem strange timing. I think I'd prefer Edinburgh's squad mix, less of a concern with injuries if you have similar standard players you can rotate through the squad
