i’ve been meaning to compliment you on your photography. You rarely miss getting a good composition and a perfect exposure. Well done. Tell me do you shoot raw?

Addendum: when the electrician came down after finding the bad circuit, he was literally white-faced and trembling from his near miss.

So, your point is quite relevant but in older houses wiring should be checked, particularly if the house dated from a time when standards weren’t as high as they are now. 3/3

They found that there was a loop in the circuitry which was not grounded, such that the electrician only avoided electrocution because of due diligence in the testing of each circuit. 2/3

Agreed, but with a cautionary note:
Our house was built in the mid 60s. A couple of years ago we had the main distribution board replaced with something more modern. In doing so the electricians needed to re-check the wiring, by way of deciding which circuits to place everything on. 1/3

As noted there, the 737 was as light as possible, no people, no fuel no nothing, but still it was impressive. 2/2

Back in the lead up to the 2019 election, when Morrison made his “… You can’t tow your boat with an EV“ statement, someone immediately posted a link to a YouTube video made 18 months prior to that showing a Tesla towing a 737 aeroplane. 1/2

They can read alright; their problem is that they don’t give a flying fuck about the rest of us.

Never done that, but I once found, after breakfast, the yoghurt in the cupboard and the Weetbix in the fridge.
It’s the short-term memory that goes first. I live by checklists and yet I can vividly remember things that happened to me when I was 3-4 years old which was quite some time ago.

I definitely recollect that it was all capital cities but, with the vagaries of an ageing memory, I could also be definitely wrong.

By 1976 or so, the sewerage initiative of Whitlam’s government had made it to the Adelaide adjacent suburbs of the Adelaide Hills. 3/3

I certainly know that that it was true of Adelaide. When I first started courting my wife, whose parents lived in the near Adelaide Hills, everyone was on septic tanks and the term “the Hills aroma“ was often used. 2/3

As to the sewerage, my understanding is that it wasn’t just the outer suburbs of Sydney that they sewered, but I think all of the capital cities. 1/3

The dryness of chicken breast is a common theme across recipe sites. Nevertheless, see the attached link to the legendary Nagi of recipetineats fame:

While we don’t have Harris farms shops here in South Australia, their product can be found here in other supermarkets, for example Drakes have it.
November 8, 2025 at 12:50 AM
I still will only have it occasionally, because of the carbon cost in getting it from those far off places to here. 2/2

Same here. Harris Farms have several varieties some of which are sourced in Tasmania, but they also have a couple of varieties labelled “wild caught“ which are sourced from either Alaska or Norway. Read the label carefully, because some of the Norwegian stuff is also fish farmed. 1/2

Glad that you had a great result, though I’m not at all surprised; I’ve been similarly treated there. In a similar vein, Good Guys are similarly good. Both make boycotting Harvey Norman that much easier.

Ah the pits of shamelessness that coffee addiction will drive a man to.

They are a brilliant choir. I had the privilege of hearing them on almost a weekly basis for 30 odd years. I was a member of the parish whilst living in Sydney. Oftentimes in close proximity when sitting in the chancel whilst serving at the altar.

I had to interrupt it to go grocery shopping. Thankfully Kayo has the ability to pause the live stream.
