I arrived in Aus from the UK in 1970, aged 7, and befriended a young Aboriginal boy, ostensibly because we both didn't fit in. As a POM I could accept it, but he couldn't because it was his country. Since then, our lives have diverged. Mine to the success of white privilege, his the opposite. So sad

Yes, subjective, and yes, very individual. My first two infections were barely noticeable, but my last (2 weeks ago) knocked me about for a week. I'm also multi-vaxxed.

The whole COVID immunity issue is so complicated. It might be that your relatively bad symptoms are because you were a previous novid, without the hybrid immunity from vaccination and previous infection. The counter to that is that having multiple infections may produce cumulative damage.
