the BSO's mahler 8 program printed a selected bibliography of recordings. no tennestedt/london philharmonic and, idk how this is possible, no mention of solti/chicago??!! WHILE including dudamel and rattle? i gotta know how the solti heads are reacting but saw no mention if it in the globe

this notebook has quotations from people like mary shelley, saying things like 'the beginning is always today.' very applicable to a lifetime sentence in prison or living with a painful and incurable disease and so on

'never give up.' i don't see why not. giving up is a fine thing to do, of no shame. like a lot of things it depends on what we're talking about, but for universal advice 'never never give up' would be just as good or probably better. have you seen 'the deer hunter'?

nice maps too. the NYC & DC & chicago subway systems & the US. black n' red is british or purports to be & i wonder if there was a UK version with a london tube map. i would have examined the circle line stops recently if i'd had one to hand. to be fair there is a lot of stuff i do not have to hand

these notebooks used to have good things on their endpapers, a date planner, tables for personal info, for time zones and measurement unit conversions and paper sizes. the sorts of things that you might not use every day. but you can look at them for a long time at any time and stop being yourself

this notebook's sewn-in red ribbon placemarker is pretentious and the pages only come standard-ruled, no quadrille-ruled or blank options, but you can scissor the ribbon out easily enough and the good binding lets you lay the hardbound book exceptionally flat and it's fuckin light and durable

what's up everybody here's a thread about quality decline in Black n' Red brand notebook endpapers. here's an older notebook model and here's a newer and here's an unrelated waterfall. i feel intense sadness every day
