Makes sense, then, that definitely helps. Sounds like your doc made it easy for you. It’s 14:49 here in Oslo, just taking a quick break from work. Do you usually get your shots at CVS, or was this a one-time thing?

Haha, yes, kids are the best little germ couriers. No wonder you stay on top of it. At least you get the fun parts of having her around, too. 😊 I try to stay healthy myself, running, cycling, that sort of thing, but nothing tests the immune system like school bugs, just winding down the day.

Interesting, seems like the rules are all over the place. Same state, totally different experience. Did you just walk in and ask, or was it through an appointment?

That’s a relief. Honestly, it shouldn’t take a doctor’s note for something like this, but at least CVS didn’t make it harder. Do you feel better having it done now?

That’s wild, so the website shut the door, but walking in opened it right up. Did they seem pretty relaxed about it, or did you just get lucky with who was behind the counter?

Glad you were able to get it, sounds like having the prescription made all the difference. The hoops people are running into right now are pretty wild. Did CVS give you any pushback at all, or was it smooth once you had the doctor’s note?

Laurie, this is inspiring, your journey really shows the courage it takes to step into writing and keep going. I’d love to know, was there a single moment when you realized ‘yes, I’m a writer now,’ or did it happen gradually?
