Makes sense! I haven't played enough of FoM yet to have adjusted to the magic system but what you mention is a great idea on their part. I get the frustration 😔 thanks for explaining and I guess we can assume they're sacrificing their original balancing for "ease of use" (lack of a better term)

That's a great point! I guess ideally the balance would be allowing sprinklers that somehow would, if anything, make the game easier than intended if that makes sense? In other words, not balancing the game assuming a player does in fact choose to use a sprinkler. Idk if thats possible though

I'm curious why you prefer less automation for things like watering? And I agree with your earlier comment about included mechanics altering game design and usage, but watering seems like something less important from what I see

Well, it'll run everything you currently run plus switch 2 exclusive games. Eventually would be worth upgrading if you want more big games
