Thanks for the revector. Glad to hear that perspective/experience and I should have given our docs more credit. We face a similar disincentive in our ICBM fields, though I think we’ve made some strides. As on a flight deck, schizophrenia doesn’t fly in a Launch Control Center, but MI is a spectrum.

Understood, which drives the individual disincentive to disclose/seek help. My comment was specific to military aviation and our shortage of pilots, thus the institutional incentive not to care even if they do recognize they are driving said individual disincentive.

In truth, it’s a job for overland routes not makeshift maritime solutions. Until those routes are opened and real security provided for convoys, there’s no way to meet the level of need.
