So no detectable change then. All well within the margin of error

margin of error!

A small step for mankind! This is to raise £400k in 2 years time, against a £30B black hole. Where is the other 98.5% coming from?

In September GB News (with 88,000) had slightly more viewers than the BBC news channel with 85,000. But the BBC's two main TV news programmes on BBC One both had viewers arond 4 million. And on Radio 4, the Today Programme has 5 million.

could you specify what lies?
November 25, 2025 at 8:57 AM
Seriously misleading.
Yes, GB News, with 88,000 per day had more than the BBC News channel with 85,000 and Sky with 73,000.
But BBC One Six O'Clock and Ten O'Clock news both had audiences over 4 million!

so redesign entry level jobs, and the education system.

But it can do many of the jobs that new recruits traditionally do.

No. Please explain

Remind us. What happened to politics and government in the US and UK around 1980?
November 13, 2025 at 11:35 AM
Democracy brought down the government in the Netherlands.

I think his argument is sound. There is no single 'institution' that would be taking a position? LSE's collective identity is embodied in many structures. The Principal, the Council, the Governing Board, the Court, a majority of students or staff? They may well disagree with each other.

Why does this story not tell us what his amendment says?
October 29, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Is it coincidence that Rupert Lowe is conducting his own 'independent' investigation into grooming gangs. Discrediting the official one would suit him, and perhaps Reform UK.

So why not support the proposals in the article. Surely that would be better than what you appear to be offered. And what 'garden city'? Doesn't sound like a new town.
October 27, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Why? That's certainly not what the author suggests.
October 27, 2025 at 6:10 PM
What does that have to do with the article?
October 27, 2025 at 6:09 PM
That is one thing that this proposal might avoid.
October 27, 2025 at 9:12 AM
That is a housing estate, not a new town. The whole point of new towns is that all these things are planned and provided.
October 27, 2025 at 9:12 AM
Why not read the article and find out?
October 27, 2025 at 9:11 AM
All new towns have community space built in. That's one of the differences between them and mass housing estates.

There's a reason why there are black faces on adverts. Its because it sells products - to black people, people who like ethnic diversity, or people who don't care about colour. The overwhelming majority.
October 27, 2025 at 9:09 AM
Presumably we know that because we have read it?
October 27, 2025 at 9:07 AM
If there are a lot of black faces in adverts its because businesses want to sell to black people and people who like ethnic diversity. Since that is a majority of the population, it makes business sense. Its nothing to do with wokery.
