With such great content they'd have no trouble scraping the licence fee and turning the BBC into a £15/month subscription service right!?

Allowing people who don't want to watch those programmes to view non BBC channels live without the need for a licence or threat of imprisonment.

Did they study the impact of people continuously driving in the middle lane at 70mph despite there being no vehicles in the inside lane?

Because it was created to be the flag of Europe (and still is) before it also became the flag of the EU!?

And we're still European aren't we!?

Was thinking similar but looking at the details Vs 2024 LE;

*Turnout was down (23 > 16%)
* Labour down ~500 votes
* Greens down ~750 votes
* Reform only got 556 votes

So I suspect; some switching from Labour, a lot of stay homes and some new voters.

Not sure about the last suggestion in that list 😬

But it's not grounded in facts.

The planned threshold for assisted dying isn't anything like 'I'm old, lonely and feel like a burden' is it.

Even if the author wishes it to be so.

Or Priti Patel and her Ministerial record who is still an MP and Shadow Secretary?

Some form of Ministerial Code would still exist to ensure they stick to certain guidelines.

As for personal performance, what process did the majority of the country have to hold Matt Hancock to account? Or Chris Grayling? Etc, etc.

This only sounds like a bad idea because of Trump.

How often do people complain that Ministers don't have lived experience of the Departments they manage?

A solution could be; recognised Industry bodies nominate individuals with expertise which the Government use as a shortlist to choose from.

Presumably meant to prevent people with 'cash to burn' buying property and sticking them in trusts for their kids whilst avoiding 2nd property stamp duty!?

Unfortunately, Angela Rayner seems to have been caught up in the unintended consequences of tax people trying to close loopholes.

Surely screen adaptations are 'Horses for Courses' intended for people like me who probably won't/haven't read the book!?

(Although, I have read The TMC and didn't think the book was more than a 6/10)

You subtract whatever is below the 0% line from whatever is above it to get the overall/net GDP figure. This value is represented by a black diamond on each 1/4's bar.

(Hope that helps.)
