So I’m considering buying an electric car, I was going to buy a Tesla. But I am not going to be seen dead in a Swasticar. The only car dealerships within 109 miles is Ford. But the tariffs are putting me off buying a an American car.

Repeat throughout Europe.

Remember when you tube videos commenting on the difference between the UK and the US said things like

‘You have air conditioning and mixer taps’

Rather than:

‘Your elected officials are terrifying the world’

It’s certainly the most comprehensive meta-analysis I’ve ever been involved with 🤓

TLDR: non-motor symptoms after stroke are common across domains and guess what? Not a great deal has changed in the last decade. A real wake up call to the field to address this huge unmet need

Patient-Reported Nonmotor Outcomes After Stroke
This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the prevalence, natural history, and factors associated with multidomain nonmotor outcome burden in patients with stroke.

"Dragon!" the knight called, "I'm here to end your reign of terror!"

"I merely land by a town and ask if they will give me someone to eat."

"Yet when they offer a sacrifice you spurn it and instead eat the mayor."

"Yes. And if they refuse to sacrifice anyone, I leave."

"That's... Hm. Carry on."

UK GP practices, who's interested in helping us pilot some training materials for improving patient safety in remote encounters (e.g. patients phoning in or sending e-requests and getting allocated to particular options such as GP callback, in-person appt etc)? Can offer free training to first five!

Remember: if you find a subway train above ground in daylight, *do not* pick it up and try to return it to its tunnel. If you can, put a shallow bowl of water in the nearest shady area.

If a bird attacks the train, do not intervene. You do not wish to mess with the birds that feed on subway trains.

I’ve realised I can’t really plan a return to work until I’m well enough. I can’t just guess when I’m likely to be well based on my steroid reduction regimen.

I mean proper one including cancelling locums and booking clinic patients.

It turns out reducing steroids also makes you feel rubbish.
