Elon won’t go to jail. Best case scenario is the courts limit the harm he’s causing and he eventually loses his reputation and respect with the right.

There are already a ton of non-profit health insurers out there. Kaiser and BCBS come to mind. The "big insurance companies" likely would win on cost and would likely offer larger networks and benefits. The real solution is what everyone else has said - a new system altogether.

This is the actual story that’s so hard to get through to the public. The PBMs are just one piece of this system, where everyone is looking to get paid.

Unfortunately it’s cheaper there because the PBM is paying the pharmacy less. Low costs are great for the patient, but bad for the pharmacy who may be taking a loss on that fill.
