This morning's sketching group efforts. I did the charcoal drawing in an hour so I knocked out the pastel pencils drawing in the last fifty mins.

This morning's sketching group efforts. I did the charcoal drawing in an hour so I knocked out the pastel pencils drawing in the last fifty mins.
I finished the charcoal drawing early, so I did the rather scribbly pastel pencils effort in about twenty minutes. Alas, I made the poor lad look like a supervillain.

I'm watching Dinosaur Jr playing live, on TV. J.Mascis is playing through THREE Marshall full-stacks. Who needs three, for heaven's sake? Still, that may be why Dinosaur Jr is so brilliant.

My car has a burnt-out headlight bulb AGAIN. They seem to last no more than a couple of months. Are manufacturers making them with built-in obsolescence? Is my car a picky little blighter?

It's a Sunday morning, so buy a copy of this, containing some of my most abstract recordings, download it and slap it on the CD player at your church. The fab natural acoustics there would be ideal, AND the other congregants would thank you. Well, possibly.
