Some West End residents are railing against a medium density development in their inner city suburb, just minutes from the CBD.

It's sad that they're doing it at one of our favourite bars too. 😭

Well said Judge Dermot Sheehan.

We’ve got to stop selling monster trucks like play-things, they are deadly weapons.

Checking out flood plain resiliency on Victoria Street, Windsor next to Northey Street playground. The unit block reportedly became an island during Feb 22 floods.

We clocked up many smiles this holiday weekend on the R&M Carrie. Still one more day to go before back to school!

New bike day! First mission: pick up vermicelli salad from the 4059.🍜 Red Hill's Banh Mi 7 Days was on a well-deserved break🙁, so I seamlessly pivoted to Kelvin Lee in Kelvin Grove.😃 The Carrie crushed Waterworks Rd curb ramps like an MTB pro🚵‍♂️ and climbed Ithaca Creek hills like a mountain goat.🐐

I've clocked up some serious kilometres around Brisbane this weekend on various cargo bikes. Time to rest the legs and let Queensland Rail navigate for a bit.

This survey ends October 2nd and the vibrancy and walkability of Rosalie village hangs in the balance. Please share.

Rosalie is one of Brisbane's most urbanised suburbs, with great walkability and a unique village vibe. Brisbane City Council walking strategy proposes a *single* pilot walkability precinct in a 3-5 year timeframe. This one is shelf ready. Please talk to local businesses and council and show support.

@ozbob13.bsky.social I saw lots of reports/stats released on your Facebook today. I wonder if you might be able to help please. I've been trying to track down modal share stats for Brisbane. The city published targets in 2014 but I can't find the metrics to see how we're tracking. Is this available?

Our annual Queensland Walks month Bushwalk to school. This a tradition we started last year. Hopefully next year we'll have one more walking (some of the way👶)!😊

A Maggie and a Kookaburra in our garden today having a yarn. They were there for quite a few minutes hanging out. Hopefully they're not scheming against me! Swooping season is very much underway in Australia.
