Unfortunately, TRUTH isn't going to defeat this brand of disinformation and dishonesty. Dishonesty and disinformation aren't being embraced today because the truth isn't available. They are being embraced because of lack of faith in institutions.

I don't think the effect would have had anywhere near as seamless a transition. The transition would have been noticed, as the apparent lighting, texture, etc., would have been impossible to match precisely enough to fool the eye.

No, you are seeing the foam numbers the entire time. They used a matte, to allow you to "see through" the footage of the car, as it passed "behind" the numbers.

The word you are looking for is “Rendition”. Also, when they do it to a citizen, it is called “Exile” (which has been ruled cruel and unusual by the Supreme Court ages ago.

I think Jordan Klemperer nailed it when he said that the genius of Trumps politics is that he made MAGA an identity. We can disagree on policy and maybe meet in the middle. But if someone is convinced MAGA is who they are?…

Insane, by design. When he says his building his taller than the number of floors that you can stand outside and count, he isn't lying to be believed. He is lying to wear down and depoliticize the electorate. He's crafting a post-truth reality, where the majority believe factual truth is unknowable.

When he swore to uphold the Constitution, he thought that meant wave it at people while accusing them of being unpatriotic.

Lately, I’ve caught it “lying” about its error. In one instance, it “volunteered” a question that involved simple subtraction. Then told me I was wrong, when I answered correctly. When I pointed out that 150-75=75 and not 200, it said “Oh, you are correct. I must have misread your answer.” Ummmm…
