We're thinking of combining the three Malvern novels (#fantasy by Stephen Brooke) into one big ol' hardcover offering (but keeping them available individually as paperbacks). No idea whether anyone would be interested in something of that sort.

As far as I know, I surfed the biggest wave ever ridden in my hometown -- hurricane #surf on the Gulf coast back in the 80s. Not surprisingly, I gave a version of this accomplishment to the protagonist of my Cully Beach surf-and-crime novels.

When I was writing the second Malvern #fantasy #novel ten years ago, my protagonist described the mantichore he encountered as 'avian.' Now, I'd be inclined to see it as an avian dinosaur. Malvern, as a man of the early Twentieth Century would know nothing of those. Science has caught up with me. 😉

It's not something I'd noted before but in rereading Brideshead Revisited, 'Bridey' comes off as being decidedly autistic.

Looking through one of my older books I noted right on the second page I'd used 'reputably' where I meant 'reputedly.' No one has caught that in the seven years since it was published. There will, of course, be a revised edition. #typo
