The day will come when these maga fascists get their day in court. And they'll look pretty pretty behind bars.

Hey Mike, do you perhaps know how old these ticket machines were. I know some were introduced in the late 20s, early 30s.. but were these the same model? Or are they a later version? Were any saved?

I got a shot of the Chemist's in October 2010. Less than a year before it closed.

Reminders of Putin's terror regime outside of the Russian Embassy yesterday afternoon. Stalin's enormous complex is barricaded off and the apartments behind it have also been empty for a decade or so.
The captured Russian tanks were parked outside the Embassy in February 2023.

You don't often see Ik units working the U4. Seen at U-Bhf Nollendorfplatz. The last time I saw one was in 2022 (Second photo).
This 100-year old station has some stability issues (Berlin underground stations are cut and cover into sand) and will be closed for a few months in early 2026.

Jannowitzbrücke open as first, two days after the wall fell. Cleaning work still going on in shot of 11/11.1989. In that and the 2014 comparison black peep holes (preserved) for armed guards in the platform store room can be seen.

Yes, a few have survived. The museum is currently closed to the public. A couple of East Berlin D/Ds survive too.

Yeah, although Beeline's yellow is pretty insipid (In my opinion). Yellow has a history on public transport back to the 1920s in Berlin, although the nazis removed it (for a standardised national beige), it was back after re-unification. www.flickr.com/photos/isars...

I have this photo in my collection. I believe it is in Austria, not Germany - 1950s. The Messerschmidt SXV still exists in 2025 and was sold on 12/11/22 for: £25,833!
