It doesn’t matter how much President Trump or Karoline Leavitt don’t want to speak on affordability, the facts are simple: Prices are rising and Americans are feeling it.
Prices on Amazon, Walmart and Target have all increased this year as retailers grapple with higher costs due to tariffs.

Because third-party sellers are more vulnerable to tariffs, marketplace vendors often have no choice but to pass higher costs onto the shopper.
Retailers are raising prices to meet tariffs. Amazon is hiking more than others

"Affordability was a con job by the Democrats."

Affordability is a real thing and Democrats are likely downloading this soundbite right now.
Trump: "They said, oh, I don’t want to talk about affordability. The reason I don’t want to talk about affordability is because everybody knows that it is far less expensive under Trump and it was under Sleepy Joe Biden!"

He is just out here writing ads for the Democrats, isn't he?

Given the results of Tuesday's elections, the voters aren't buying this from the Trump White House. If they did, Republicans would have won those races.
