I used to have the Sultans of Swing best of on Cd (I HATE the chunk of guitar missing on the album cover WHY) and the disc was scratched to hell, and it always skipped at a specific part on Tunnel of Love, and still to this day I expect to hear that skip. Intrinsically part of the song in my brain.

So far the vocals are more Dylan leaning than his rural Aussie twang I know and love, but shit, it’s Paul fucking Kelly who am I to complain. Deeply relaxing and enjoyable with a decent serve of melancholy 😌

Thankfully now I can enjoy music very differently than when I was a kid, and clowns don’t scare me if I can’t see them! It’s fine, right?? 🥹

I never got heavy into Slipknot cause when I was a kid, I knew people who made liking Insane Clown Posse their whole personality, and they also liked Slipknot. I HATED clowns, but mostly I didn’t like those people as individuals. When you’re a kid that stuff really matters.

Don’t listen much to the Zep anymore, but this was perfect 😌✨
