I’ve been trying to get across a lesson around collage as a metaphor for theory and research — taking elements from different places and creating new meaning that wasn’t there before. I don’t know if they’re totally getting that part yet—but they love the arts and crafts element.

It’s so frustrating! We have a printer in our building, but they keep shaming us for using it and trying to institute paper quotas.

Somebody, Somewhere has everything: nuanced friendship, queer found family, regular looking middle aged people, family trauma, cabaret singing, the Midwest, lots of jokes. You’ll cry once an episode, but in a nice way.

Jeff Hiller!! Literally crying! If you haven’t watched Somebody, Somewhere yet, do yourself a favor and fire it up.
