It really was delicious! I used this recipe but added my own touches.
Instead of canned chiles, I had Ryan smoke 2 poblanos. I added yellow & orange bell peppers & 4 cloves of garlic. I also added some Tony Chachere's and HEB Barracho Bean seasoning.

I'm excited!!
Six months later, my A1C has improved to 6.5 and my blood sugar is well controlled. For the last 3 days it's been in normal range 100% of the time! I'm so happy and hopeful. Just wanted to share the good news!
