Do you think it is something specific about trans people (the whole "experienced life from both sides" argument)?
Or is it a more general case of the most persecuted group within a society, whichever it happens to be?

An amendment to the law on inciting racial hatred, removing the "public interest" exception for the press.

I had a dentist called Linehan in the 90s/00s. He was OK, as dentists go.

You could show up at Parliament and green card them. They have to respond to that.

They are a priority for the people they affect.
Abuse is always carried out against vulnerable groups. Part of that vulnerability is often small population size, so the majority don't care about it.

Banning puberty blockers for trans adolescents & changes to PIP to name two.

Abuse isn't somehow more acceptable just because it's now being carried out by someone wearing a red tie rather than blue.

What would be the best place to go, do you think? Maybe Ireland because there are no visa requirements?

Decisions like this mean trans people in this country have no access to justice without risking our lives.
It means that in practice, we have no civil rights. We are non-persons.

They have a new number 03001316775, which they haven't been very good at publicising.

He won one election, against an immensely unpopular 14 year old government. Even then he almost blew a massive poll lead.

I don't think he has proven anything of the sort.

We're just the most disciplined group of people ever. When we commit to a bit, we really go all out. If only we weren't so obsessed with our Blåhaj and spinny skirts, we'd probably rule the world. /s
