I also discovered I have a bumper crop of aphids. 🙃 I'd be inclined to just let them be and let their natural predators deal with them, but I haven't hardly seen any wasps this year, and there's nary a ladybug in sight.
Might go spray some super mild dish soap and wipe off the majority.

Just saw a Monarch checking out the milkweed in my garden! Couldn't quite get a shot of that, since the flowers aren't open yet or didn't stick around for very long. But it knows where they are now!

Ok, I guess I found the silver lining for having a disturbing warm and low snow winter?
The city was easily able to get to my water main shutoff so the plumber can replace the the interior house main connection that decided to spring a leak below the shutoff valve. 🙃

Badger had his yearly checkup yesterday! He shall now be known as Lumpy, given the collection of both sebaceous cysts & fatty lipomas he's amassing.
We're also adding daily gabapentin to see if we can double-dip for both pain & seizure management. They seem to be getting more intense. 😣 #uglydogs
