And rather than “restoring” what we had, instead we build anew. and better. What systems do we build and design that better serve our needs? So if we zoom out a bit, we can see this as one piece to a new planet, new humanity, a new way.

Things will get BAD, maybe so bad that people actually join together and rise up in opposition. We are united and are the check on authoritarian power. Communities that are connected will thrive. Communities that have a relationship with ‘āina will thrive.

collapse of a capitalist and consumerist system which our planet and people cannot sustain, collapse in large scale food systems which are breeding disease and making us sick, collapse in our healthcare system running on greed — then I’m wondering if this is step one of destruction.
