Why am I always the most creative at the end of the year, as I reflect and think of new ways to teach and have students interact? 32 years and I’m still trying to do it better !!

I know I shouldn’t be happy about it, but while explaining course selections for next year, numerous students asked what I am teaching so they can take that 🥰

Mama learned to give me subcutaneous fluids at home (only stuck herself twice) so I’m feeling so much better. I got in trouble for taking all the boxes out of recycling. Eating my food and complaining when mama’s lap is not available.

Wow I have over 400 followers. Crazy. So I’ve been a teacher since 1991. Started out on typewriters and now teach college-level Networking and Cybersecurity to high school, community college, and university. I love what I do. I’m incredibly good at it. I work every day to do it even better.

Had a wonderful moment today. Student asks me if I knew there used to be a playground at the back of our high school for a pre-K program. I said oh yes, one year my club gave all of them a laptop for their graduation. Turns out he was one of those kids. He’s in my cybersecurity class.
