Children’s books are actually what initially instill that love for reading! I regularly will put some children’s chapter books from my childhood into my reading list for the nostalgia and the writing that is succinct, simple, and yet beautiful and powerful all at once.

Great Expectations. I didn’t get a chance to stop reading it because I had to in my high school English class, but 30 years later, I still stand by this. Didn’t pique my interest 🤷🏻‍♀️
