I love Lucy Foley, but this one was not it. I didn’t like a single character so I didn’t care who done it or who it was done too sadly.

I think I would have liked this better if it had been written by a woman…. It was truly horrific to think of what birthing women went through and still go through today, but it felt cringey having a man tell us. 😬

As you’re making your TBR for February add this to the list! This book had me in a rage, had me in tears and left me feeling so hopeful that people can change. @jodipicoult.bsky.social is so so good as what she does!

Incredible. It is extremely hard for me, as a teacher married to a teacher, to read about school shootings. Thank you @jodipicoult.bsky.social for this incredible story. The fact that you can feel such pain and sorry for people on both sides of a tragedy speaks volumes for her talent.

one of my favorite authors @jodipicoult.bsky.social is on this list. jodi’s book 19 Minutes changed my life as a freshman in highschool in 2012. it was the first time i remember reading about school shootings and feeling like i was being seen, that the fear was real, and that i wasn’t crazy.
