Do we know how old this photo is? Not that it would excuse it, but it being recent would make it a lot harder for conservatives to say "oh, but people can change".

The next step for defending female rights is to demand equal access, not gatekeep trans athletes from achieving the same level of success. Stop the segregation and let everyone shine.

This is my rant, not sure it made me feel better, but WTH.

Yes, the average woman won't make the CDL, but some might be able to. The amazing women on our Canadian Women's Hockey Teams could sure as hell hold their own in the NHL if given the chance. We as women aren't fragile, but the male egos in charge sure as hell are.

I truly believe the real reason was to protect the egos of males when some women rise to the challenge and beat their asses! Imagine if there was no segregation, if an athlete made a team based on their skill alone, because women sure as hell can rise to that challenge!

Look at what our women athletes have accomplished, now imagine what they could accomplish if faced off with every athlete of their comparable skill level regardless of gender? Men were "so nice" to give us our own sports leagues (read sarcasm) to keep us poor women safe from aggressive male sports.
