This person stopped about five cars back from a red light in the middle of the bike lane to look at their phone.

Before stopping they had been swirving in and out of the bike lane for about a half mile. Broadway just west of 21st.

We've gutted the government so much that we are now getting our economic data from.... *checks notes*

Maybe we need a test before people are allowed to board a plane.

@flightradar24.com is there something off in the latest iOS build? Selecting a flight looks something like this.

Evening bike ride with an amazing sunset.

So much for LinkedIn being a place of refuge.

Yeesh. The hot takes keep getting worse.

Sequencing into PDX during the evening arrivals is getting a bit wild.

I feel like Taiwan has a deep coffee culture that is kind of slept on. This iced pour over at VWI is delicious.
October 11, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Yes, it is indescribably hot here. That won’t stop me from walking to get Gua Bao.

I’m 2/3 of the way to Taipei and this was the salad served by United (left). I know they’re trying to be different but this was just a tiny Romaine heart and two tomatoes. The beet appetizer was quite nice though.

Condé Nast, that antifa, war zone loving rag.

Alaska using four gates at D during the 9am bank at PDX today.
October 9, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Wait, the catalytic converter thefts and street takeovers were all Antifa?!
October 8, 2025 at 9:57 PM
PDX is so strapped for gates during the evening that Alaska parked a flight at E7 tonight.
October 7, 2025 at 3:44 AM
So wait, is it the homeless people or the protests that make it a war zone?
October 6, 2025 at 5:31 PM
So which is it, downtown Portland is a hell hole or downtown is too expensive?
October 6, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier looking lovely on the way to Newark today.
October 3, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Here's why I fear that they are simply ok with arresting or hurting people protesting. The chief of police says "this is happening within a city block" and the people who are selling the "protest porn" call for his firing and investigation.
October 1, 2025 at 4:41 PM
The self-ingratiating and self-congratulations is one thing, but I can pretty much guarantee the local media isn't reporting much on the ICE building protests because it's a nothing story.

Portland is so bad let me reference a crime from January. Oh wait, there's no one at the food carts, it's awful.
