As a proud lefty, and someone who had signed up to Your Party on day 1, I joined the Greens yesterday. In particular for their clear position on fairness for both people and the planet and their unequivocal support for trans rights. This ill-considered post further proves it was the right decision.

Me too! Exactly the same thinking. And I am so happy with the Green Party’s pro trans stance. Finally a politically party that speaks for me! Keep up the great work @zackpolanski.bsky.social and team!

2/2: I really want to fully support Your Party but before I do I need confirmation that support for trans rights and the environment are intrinsic to the party, along with the other important issues raised in Jeremy and Zarah’s statement.

1/2: Jeremy and Zarah’s statement does set out a number of policies that appear to be intrinsic to Your Party. In the context of Gaza, it also states that all human life is equal. In this, and the wider political, context I also find the silence on trans rights (and the environment) deafening.

Fully agree. Will need confirmation of this before fully supporting and donating.
