I hope everyone is having an amazing Easter Sunday! It’s been a rather low key day. Managed to complete my Starry Night #LEGO set! I’ll figure out how to hang it on the wall next weekend.

Watched two movies with the hubby today. G20 was alright. Viola Davis is always gonna shine for me but this one didn’t hit. One of Them Days is a modern day Friday. Hilarious!

My birthday was on Monday. I kicked back and enjoyed my day…peacefully. My husband made my favorite pizza, had a Nothing Bunt Cake Bundtini and got some LEGO’s! This Bowser set looks MASSIVE 😮.

6. Cyberpunk 2077 - PlayStation 5
Fantastic open world that’s full of life. Excellent narrative and voice acting. Music is dope. There’s just so much that I love and appreciate about this game. Honestly one of my favs of all time! Phantom Liberty here I come!

5. Blade Chimera - Switch
Credits just rolled. This was a nice little surprise. Solid metroidvania. Love the pixelated graphics and music. Gameplay is a fun due to the unique blade mechanic. Story is just alright. Highly recommend this to anyone that digs metroidvania.

4. Donkey Kong Country (SNES/NSO)
First 2025 backlog game complete. Never played through these original DKC games. Fantastic soundtrack and I’m sure it only gets better. Great level design all around. Even liked the water levels 🤪. Boss battles are a bit lackluster though.

3. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - Xbox Series X
This feels like a throwback to the classic movie trilogy! Great puzzles, it’s funny, great sense of adventure…it’s all things Indy! Melee combat is fun. So much fun that I never really used a gun. Definitely worth playing!
