On the other hand, my partner designed my new model for me and I rigged it. It was a great learning experience for the both of us, and we treated it as such, so my only cost was time. They got to learn how to properly cut for something to be rigged, and I got to rig something other than slime

The second reason is customizability: 2D models cost hella. I paid roughly $2k for mine a while back and there were aspects of it I grew out of. Unfortunately, a new outfit could cost me anywhere from $200-$800 where I was price shopping, when rigging was taken into account.

The first reason is that, frankly, I got my computer during a chip shortage and it runs like hot garbage sometimes. The programs needed to run a regular 2D model would lead to 30% PC usage altogethee, which is often the difference in my PC running well or not while streaming
