A piece for a calendar. I was given July for my month! Shown here, a watermelon slice with July written on the rind. The background has orange, lemon, and lime slices (in that order) and some different ice cream types shown throughout! There's an ice pop, a single scoop cone, an ice cream sandwich, a cup of Italian ice, a melty pop on a stick, and three mochi ice cream balls. The colour scheme is largely red and green This piece was to emulate a mock magazine illustration spread. So it would be placed over two pages. There's a couple sitting on a small couch, talking with a couples therapist. The therapist is a book sitting in a large heart shaped chair. They're all in an office it's a book shelf with books and awards on one side and glared out picture frames on the other. The colour scheme is orange, fuschia, and dark purple. This is a WIP piece. Meant to be a mock up of a cover for a magazine, I used Illustoria as my magazine of choice. The logo is very faded at the top as a mock up place holder. Currently it's a black and white rendering of a girl sitting on the edge of a bed that's also a rocket ship. She's soaring through the cosmos heading to different planets each themed after something different. There's a fantasy planet, a dinosaur planet, a pirate planet, and a planet shaped like a bee hive. This is the logo for a pitch bible im working on. It's a circular logo with "Love & Death in the Park" written in the center with calligraphy and gold on everything but DEATH which is written in a stark black. It's on top of a green circle surrounded by red and blue flowers (all important colours for the main characters of the story the pitch bible is for)

Some advice for the youngins 🤔

If you're struggling to get started digitally, turn the paper colour tan and the pencil colour brown. it'll be easier on the eyes (make sure to take care of yourself!) and not so intimidating as the stark white! 😊
