Any pointers or ideas for outdoor learning? I’m leading whole days with classes in mid-September and would love to do mini-projects over the course of the day. All help appreciated!

I’m not sure if this is a metaphor, an allegory or merely a sentimental ramble, but it’s been a week of Big Things and there’s comfort in the small.

Outside my classroom there’s a patch of bare earth, used as the shortest shortcut to the playground. In March, the P3s sowed some somewhat elderly wildflower seeds there. It has been quietly beautiful watching the children watch them grow and fall in love with every flower and its visiting wildlife.
