I think that the Senators stood up against outside pressure. This is a natural response by Americans. It is really strange that threatening to withhold funds deserves anything other than the middle finger. I think trying to primary these Senators will backfire.

With the industrialization of food in the USA, regulation isn’t a deterrent to poor practice as are lawsuits. At times I think corporations hide behind the regulations. As long as you can sue, less regulation might be better.
