Note: The book's content is not 18+, I just want to work alongside other adults.

Of course, everyone involved will be fully and completely credited for their work. We'll communicate through a Discord server so we can call, share links, post refs, and more. I just ask that if you join that you keep the project's details secret until it's time to reveal it!

Why unpaid?

1. I don't have much expendable income
2. This is a for-fun project, where I want to make connections and meet new people, and try out working alongside others
3. When completed, it'll be released for free (unless everyone involved wants it to be paid, then we can discuss further)

We'll all work together to build these monsters, but the person who chooses the prompt will do the majority! We'll talk about different mechanics, lore, ideas, balancing, and other suggestions to help each other build cool monsters for what will (hopefully) be a very fun book with a great theme!

To keep it a bit vague, the idea is that there are several prompts (not AI). Everyone picks one or more and turns that prompt into a fully established 5e monster, with lore, stats, and everything else, setting-agnostic! Everything will then be combined into one big PDF(?) for the world to see.

So! I'm planning to start working on a new project, which is a D&D book featuring new monsters. The thing is, I'm kind of tired of working on projects by myself. I feel like I'd do better working with others, and I'd like to work alongside others to network and make new connections in the community.

I'd suggest that they go fuck themselves but that may be why they stole it

This gives them a feeling of superiority because they know they are "better" for being able to beat it on whatever difficulty there is, and thus they have to gatekeep it so no "losers" who "aren't as good as them" can claim they beat the game and """ruin""" whatever ego they have over it

I don't get it either. I don't see a reason why it's such a volatile subject at times. I think part of it comes from that feeling of "superiority" people get from those games. If there is no easy mode, then the only people who can beat them are those with time to learn them (cont.)
