I tore apart the original receiver hardware and built UV and backlighting LEDs, cooling components, and driver circuitry into the space left behind. Wrote code to control brightness, LED animations, etc. I wanted it to look stock until you turn it on, revealing the fluorescence.

Yeah I originally went LIFX cause I liked the idea of a hub-less system, but now I regret that choice.
