Imagine all cars are electric, then someone invents the petrol engine: “We set fire to liquid fuel in tiny explosions using 200 moving parts. It’s 20% efficient, noisy, polluting, can’t run on renewables, and needs special stations to refuel.” Electric motors remain pure genius.

I also went to Forest & I suspect the Mullins girls (unrelated to Greg) & few other awesome people influenced our view of the world too.
Love that you wove feminist & enviromental issues through the story.
