Thinking this week about what it would look like if we stopped looking to the online space for things it can’t give us. Spending time face to face with our village grieving, offering support, dreaming of different ways. The online world is a powerful tool but cannot be a substitute for the village.

If there’s one hope I have for all that we face right now it is that we can honor our grief, move through it, and transform it into art, into another world. This piece about my exhibition this past June traces that idea in my paintings of horses and birds, moons and mountains.
