Sitting on the sidelines is for Waldorf and Statler. Promoted by Tim Dexter on behalf of Labour both at 23 Orford Rd E17 9NL.
Without the ability to tour, bands would never get the chance to play, succeed and make us all memories that last a lifetime. That’s why @labour4europe.bsky.social campaigning to fix the problems Brexit has created - warning contains singing and dancing in the streets again …

The leader of the greens thinks he can persuade Putin to give up weapons. The leader of reform thinks he can cut public spending without cutting services. Labour risks falling into same trap in its immigration and asylum policies. To actually change the world we need less bravado and more scrutiny.

Tory hard Brexit didn’t even include our national security, let alone do anything to promote it - in an uncertain world internationalism is vital to our shared safety. Proud to stand with European colleagues at the parliamentary partnership assembly in pledging to tackle this.

The government intends to consult on how to enforce removal of families who previously held refugee status - today I asked the Home Secretary how this could work in practice. I will keep asking about this until we get answers.

Plans to leave refugees in a state of perpetual uncertainty about where and if they can rebuild their lives are not just performative cruelty, they are counterproductive to integration and the economy. It doesn’t have to be like this - 1/2

Thank you Speaker Box Street Party for the joy of finding your flashmob tonight and joining in - the more they hate us, the more we need to take to the streets to show the joy that can be found here. Sorry to disappoint Rupert Lowe- London isn’t broken, it’s bouncing!

The BBC is in crisis with many calling for it to be broken up and political attacks at home and abroad - time to save it from interference by partisan elites by putting the public truly at the heart of our public service broadcasting and mutualising it. Democracy not Donald must be its future!

For those who gave their lives, so we could live ours.

Tonight we held our first Walthamstow politics town hall meeting in person. It's a work in progress to find right format so all feedback welcome and thank you to those who came and proved we don't have to all agree to be able to talk to each other but we do have to be able to talk! #loveWalthamstow

A reminder we have our first Walthamstow town hall style meeting tomorrow evening ( Monday 10th November) as a trial - to help with the organisation can I ask you to rsvp by midday tomorrow so we can get the details of venue out and confirm logistics to security.

remembering is to give thanks for those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may be safe and to recommit ourselves to a world of peace and freedom for all. Thinking today of all who have lost a loved one to conflict and marking this in Westminster and Walthamstow. .

In a world all too often hostile and difficult, moments we can be ferris Bueller matter even more. Politics at its best should help us all have more of them with those we love.

not apologising for that reference or worried it ages me. Look him up kids. One of the greatest films of all time. Fact.

Some people have questioned whether tackling firework misuse in Walthamstow is really a big deal - watch the start and end of this video to see what’s been happening in Lea Bridge ( and elsewhere in our area!) and please help your local Labour teams do something about it!

On Monday evening I've set up our first town hall meeting for Walthamstow as a trial - this is in response to the increasing toxicity of trying to hear each other online on a wide range of concerns and requests for public discussions. Please note this isn't a forum for personal casework 1/2

Don’t be fooled - those urging us to leave the ECHR are attacking immigrants to cover up this is really about attacking our freedoms and the protection it gives all our human rights. Freedom is worth fighting for - join @labour4europe.bsky.social to help support those of us telling the truth!

This law now means they will have to contain wood or bamboo - but please don’t flush wet wipes if you use them as even plastic free they cause blockages! It’s easy to claim you care about the environment, but talk is cheap - it’s legislation like this that makes change happen. 2/2

Proud to help Labours Fleur Anderson MP pass her law banning plastic in wet wipes this week - over 11bn are used annually, are responsible for 93% of sewage blockages and fatbergs and those with plastic in cause plastic pollution from microplastics in our rivers and oceans.

I will be supporting Sarah Owen’s bill to tackle the misuse of fireworks that causes misery for so many and ensure we can still have the displays we enjoy- until then here’s how you can help us stop those who terrorise residents of all ages, and our pets too, by setting off fireworks in our streets.

British businesses need help now with the mess Brexit has created - Here’s one clear way we can help cut paperwork, save jobs and rebuild our trading relationship with our neighbours now so they have a future at all. Join us in the @labour4europe.bsky.social to actually make a difference on Europe.

When you shop at the Salvation Army on Forest Road they in turn ensure more people in Walthamstow have warm clothes, school uniform, emergency accommodation and less stuff is sent to landfill. Delighted to see them win best charity shop in London - now for the national competition! #loveWalthamstow
